The current artwork for St. Ives’ Gentle Smoothing Skin Care Set needed to be updated to reflect ingredient focus and fun personality of St. Ives. New concepts were developed and presented to the brand team. We started off with designing the set with the supplied model shot. Ultimately we decided to remove the model to allow more focus on the ingredients and products. This approach allows consumers to clearly see what is inside the box since the packaging does not have an opening. The copy was also tweaked to emphasize St. Ives’ commitment in using 100% naturally sourced extracts, exfoliants and moisturizers.
